192.168.l.l password information

Step 1:
Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.

Step 2:
Go to the Address bar and enter your router’s IP Address (“192.168.I.I” is the default IP of most Linksys routers) then press [Enter]. 

NOTE:  If the IP address of the router has been changed, type the router’s IP address in the Address bar instead.

The router’s IP address can be changed by:

• Running the router’s setup CD.
• Changing it on the router’s web-based setup page.

If you forgot the router’s IP address you can:

• Check the router’s IP address.
• Press the Reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds.

NOTE:  This procedure will reset your router to factory defaults.  Any settings on the router will be erased.  The router’s IP address will be “192.168.I.I

” and the username and password will be “admin” after resetting.

Step 3:
A new window will prompt for a User name and Password, type “admin” (this is the default user name and password), then click OK.

NOTE:  If the user name and password of the router has been changed, type the router’s new user name and password on both fields instead.  In case the router login is forgotten, you will to reset the router.
